Parents Say…

“My family and I cannot express enough gratitude for our current experience with roots and wings.

My daughter has not previously had the experience of attending preschool full time. Financially we could only afford for her to attend for 6 hours a week at a previous school. Due to her birthday she needed to attend for another year. With a grateful heart we found out that we would be able to receive the financial grant.

I believe that a solid preschool program is beyond essential to create the foundation for a child’s being and education. My daughter has flourished within this program. She has created positive connections with children, expresses her self now effortlessly along with skills to balance and address her emotions. My daughter has developed confidence as a little human, and found the perfect playful environment to foster her beautiful imagination. A safe place to be a kid.

The school is filled with educators that not only are aware of how to educate our children but are mindful and sensitive with the daily interactions with our children. Filled with patience and true genuine understanding and compassion for growing minds and hearts.

I will, we will be forever thankful for roots and wings. My daughter will forever be positively packed with tools and recourses for a bright future as a young girl And education for years to come. She overall has a greater sense of well-being. She adores her peers and teachers.

 Thank you 🙏 ♥️” ~ Jessica C.

“The Roots & Wings staff has helped my son so much. They have been patient with him and supportive with me in my journey to help him with any learning disabilities that he has. I am happy that he gets the attention he does. I can go to any teacher and ask how his day was and they will all know the details of his day. He has grown tremendously since he started with speech, language, and communication skills. He is comfortable and enjoys going to school.” ~ Miranda H.

“My daughter loves going to school every day. She feels welcome in the classroom, which has greatly helped with her separation anxiety. She finds the classroom engaging and exciting; she eagerly jumps into each new activity that is provided daily. My daughter’s social skills and vocabulary have experienced the most growth. She is learning how to navigate peer relationships that can lead to the development of friendships. She is more aware of the reciprocal nature of relationships. The low teacher-child ratio is an element within the classroom environment that is so seamlessly ingrained into the daily flow that I often forget about this fact. In my observation, the dynamic of low teacher-child ratio affords children with the ability to lead the way in their own learning and to have their discoveries seen and heard. Each teacher is so observant and consciously present in his or her interactions.” ~ Ann D.

“My daughter loves going to school at Roots and Wings! Her social and motor skills have excelled. My daughter is timid, but she trusts the teachers and she is engaging more with her peers. The Roots and Wings staff are exceptional. Their program is child-centered and play-based which has helped my daughter thrive.” ~ Jesse A.

“Since my child has started at Roots and Wings, she has become more outgoing. She loves going to school. She is speaking much more, and she asks questions all the time now. The low teacher-child ratio is great. All the teachers know the kids really well. Our child uses the skills she has learned at school everyday. We really feel lucky to have found Roots and Wings.” ~ Jennifer A.

“My daughters love going to school each day. The staff is very friendly and seem to care about each child. I love that my daughters are learning through play and are free to express themselves through art. ~ Lauren M.

“My child’s vocabulary, confidence, and social skills has improved since the beginning of the school year. The sensory play set up is excellent. Roots and Wings allow kids to be kids before kindergarten. My older child still has great memories from all the activities at Roots and Wings from when he attended.” ~ Amanda W.
